New Information

Since it is the beginning of the 2nd nine weeks, I have started letting the students read the reading test on Friday by themselves. The only section I will read to them is the front page because the questions and answers on this page can be trickier and harder to decode. The other sections of the test consists of our high frequency words, our phonics skill for the week, and sometimes a close read with phonics skills we have previously worked on, and the students will read and answer questions from the close read. The reasoning behind me not reading those parts of the test anymore is because everyday we go over our phonics skills and high frequency words of the week, and I want to see what the students have learned.
